My Entry for MLMM’s Saturday Mix (9 Oct)- Lucky Dip

For this week’s Lucky Dip, we’ve been challenged to write a ‘Lanturne’ on any topic we choose.

You may be thinking to yourself, What on earth is a Lanturne?

Luckily, Shadow Poetry has an explanation…

The Lanturne is a five-line verse shaped like a Japanese lantern with a syllabic pattern of one, two, three, four, one.
